Monica Hsiao is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Triada Capital having been Head of Asia Credit at CQS.
Monica previously practiced law for 5 years in New York before her career in finance. She has 17 years of global trading experience in credit long-short fundamental strategies in both emerging and developed markets. Before moving to Asia to start Asia credit strategies for CQS, she was a proprietary portfolio manager at global investment banks where she set up capital structure arbitrage and long/short credit portfolios across global credit markets including US and European corporate credits.
Monica holds a BA in Economics with Honors and Distinction and Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University; a MA in International Policy Studies from Stanford University; a JD from UCLA School of Law; and a MS in Finance from the London Business School. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Triada’s operations team is led by Jean-Marie Barreau.
Jean-Marie has over 29 years of derivatives and investment fund experience including 14 years in alternative investments. He set up and ran hedge-fund managed accounts platforms and global fund derivatives activities for global investment banks.
Jean-Marie holds both a BA and a Master degree in Economics from Sorbonne University and a MS in Finance from Essec in France.
